We must bear in mind that being overstressed can cause emotional problems, affect our relationships and cause health concerns.
Therefore, it is important that we take time to relax and de-stress, for the health of our mind and body.

Green tea is increasingly popular and this is because it is very soothing. The ingredients actually actively encourage relaxation in your body.
Caffeine actually worsens the effects of stress, as it can stimulate the processes in the body that build stress. Green Tea is a great hot drink substitute for caffeine drinks and it actually counter attacks the stimulating effect of caffeine.

Yoga and Meditation are ideal for de-stressing; this is because they encourage you to train your thoughts to block out the outside world. Separating yourself from stressful situations during a given activity is very important.
The other ideal element of meditation is that it can be brief and done anywhere. Meanwhile, yoga may take longer and be less convenient, but it combines some relaxing exercise for your tired body.

This has a similar effect to massages, but is of course much less time consuming and cheaper. You manage to drain away mental stress and your body physical stress.
I am writing this as an experienced PA and I am now working at Souters Training. I feel that one of the most important things that you can remember in your working life, is to avoid becoming over stressed.
