The good thing about this is that gaining skills in another area opens opportunities in other careers in the future.
So what could be options to look at that can complement your career?
- Financial Skills: This can be Bookkeeping to compliment expenses and budgets and other items in our role. However, it can be higher finance which will incorporate your ability to attend executive meeting and make sense of financial data.
- Project Management Skills: Project Management is an option for Executive Assistants and PAs. It gives them the chance to move in to Projects and use numerous skills from previous roles to great effect in Projects. This can offer better pay and hours.
- Event Management Skills: Event Management is an option for Executive Assistants and PAs. It gives them the chance to move in to Events and use numerous skills from previous roles to great effect in Events.
- Minute Taking Skills: Get excellent minute taking skills and you can attend higher level meetings. This enables you to network with the highest levels at work.
